Matthew J. De Geeter, ASID, CAE, MBA, LEED AP is the Founder and Chief Strategist of De Geeter Co., an executive advisory practice and strategic management consultancy tailored for the built environment ecosystem, association sector, and enterprise organizations. With nearly 20 years of experience bridging interior design, association leadership, and business administration, he excels at navigating complex, ambiguous environments to co-create clarity, translating strategic vision into high-performing operational systems.
As former Senior Vice President of Strategic Enterprises at the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Matthew served as chief designer of enterprise strategy that scaled over $430k in new revenue streams, projected an additional $800k in annual non-dues revenue, launched an aligned national committee operational system of 140+ volunteers, and expanded membership by 4,500+ individuals through a revolutionary model overhaul.
Named an Emory University Goizueta Business School “Best & Brightest” Executive MBA, Matthew is a recognized thought leader who has delivered more than 50 industry presentations and publications on strategic operations and the built environment.
